At night the nocturnal animals turn up too, see if you can spot them - porcupine, ant eater, honey badger, brown hyena. There are numerous cats as well, including cheetah and leopards - although it’s rare to see them. They’re all part of the incredible ecosystem at Omatozu.
This place is very chilled. There’s a deck with bar, dining and lounge facilities. The braai area has views onto a farm dam.
There are 3 luxury walk-in tents. These are for you happy glampers out there and have en-suite bathrooms. They have air conditioning and electricity. Told you it was glamping. If you’re camping you’ll be based a short distance away from the main camp. There are 4 campsites, sheltered between indigenous vegetation. They’re at the perimeter of a small farm dam. Every campsite has its own ablution facilities and braai area. There are hot showers, 220 Volt electricity point and lights in the camp sites and bathrooms. Fire wood is available to buy.
Campers are also allowed to use the bar at the main camp. Meals are available if ordered in advance.
